Still Autumn?
I got to admit, we had some amazing days of autumn. Like starry sky, no clouds, cold and aurora borealis. But this happened the days when I had a lot of work to do, either with my job, the Red Cross or the brass band, so I did not get a chance to go outside when it was still light enough, nor during the evening/night because I went to sleep early all those days.
Since then, it's been raining and raining and raining. Today however a change of seasons. It's now officially winter. First snowfall!
Driving is complete crap these first few days of snow. Hopefully it will disappear soon. The snow I mean. I'm not a winter person, but I survive. :)
On a roll obviously
Autumn feel for a Spring Blossom
I am obviously on a roll with my photos. I brought my camera with me to my parent's place yesterday, figured I wanted to take some photos of my nephew Oliver.
As I walk up the pathway, I see this red wall, with a climbing bush. The leaves have turned this really pale yellow, which just stood out from the wall. So after having fun with my nephew using a moment when the lighting was good, eating dinner, I went outside. Boooy, did I get value for being outside for half an hour. I catched the time pretty good because it wasn't raining (which is quite rare. To not rain and have decent light at the same time).
Thrilled morning
Can you believe how THRILLED I were this morning, discovering I had over 25 feedbacks on my photos in some or another way?
The past couple of days have been.. Not really the best days of my life, a lot of things happening at work that's not so fun dealing with, a really good friend of mine got hospitalized on Monday with severe pains that not even drugs could take away, surgery on her back yesterday. Also a lot of Red Cross stuff happening the past couple of days. People calling, people needing help to get down from a mountain etc.
Anyhow, the response on my photos is sortof a.. I don't know how to say it, but it's a motivation and a kick i
Long time no see... Yet again
So stuff happens. You break up with your bf of many years, move out, end school, doesn't touch your camera in litterally Y E A R S, loose old friends, meet new people, move out from parents place, new job, become a Red Cross leader, get a new boyfriend, becomes an aunt x2 (10 days between the boys). THEN you pick up the camera again during summer vacation, and BOOM you're addicted.
Anyhow, I might be back, I might not. Have a busy job-life and an even busier life when not working. Joined what is now Norway's top 12th-ish brass band a couple of years ago, so that requires some work and rehersals. Not to forget my Red Cross "job"-hobby. It's a
